A long time ago, in a galaxy very close to home, I started a Jeep bumper fabrication business.  I built high end custom bumpers for several dozen people over a period of a few months while I was getting my real estate license.  I had a lot of fun designing and building the bumpers... 

I also designed the first JeepBuilders website.  It was pure html and quite basic.  But, it functioned to bring in business from all over the country.  DHL made regular pick-ups of the 100 pount bumpers, sending them to places like California, Alabama, Michigan, Oregon... all over. 

It taught me an important lesson that I carried forward to my real estate career.  Marketing on the internet is very powerful.  

Since I got my license, this site has languished on the web.  Unloved and not updated for 4 years.  Recently, I decided to change web hosts, and I thought it would be good to make some changes to JeepBuilders at the same time.  For the last few years I have been using Joomla CMS to build much more complex websites for real estate.  

I thought that in addition to documenting the work to my (also languishing) Jeepster/Commando/Wrangler project, I could use this site as a test bed for Joomla extensions before deploying them on my real estate websites.  

So, welcome to the site.  Look around and enjoy.  Hopefully I'll be able to get something done on the Jeepster, too...
